Our story

We have been in business in Denali for 35 years. In that time we have had the joy of interacting with thousands of adventurous travelers and hundreds of seasonal employees from all over the world. Our mission is to provide great memories to those bold enough to travel to the last frontier.

In 1988 our founder came to Denali and saw a huge opportunity where most only saw remote wilderness. He purchased property just north of Denali National Park where he opened the Denali Park Salmon Bake Restaurant and Cabins. Denali Gift Companies began with just a few gifts for sale inside the restaurant. Over the years we have transitioned fully to the souvenir business with our stores Denali Gift Co across from Princess Wilderness Lodge and Canyon Gift Co on the boardwalk. We now offer the largest selection of souvenirs in Denali!

Our team travels to Denali each spring from all over the world seeking new friends and untouched nature. Some of us are only here for one summer, and some have been returning to Denali year after year. No matter where we come from Denali has a way of turning us all into nature enthusiasts.
